Nannika Honore

Having graduated from the School of Veterinary Medicine, University of the West Indies, in 2010, Nannika worked in small animal practice as a veterinary surgeon in Trinidad for ten (10 years) in three multi-vet mixed practices dealing with small animals, mixed and exotic species. Of the 10 years, six (6) were spent as a Veterinary Manager. She joined the Nestlé Purina team as the Veterinary Advisor for Nestlé Purina Central America and Caribbean in 2020 where her focus became Small Animal Nutrition. In 2021, the portfolio became more focused and she became the veterinary advisor of the Nestlé Purina Caribbean team operating with the English-speaking Caribbean islands.

Enjoying the best of both worlds, her passion of teaching is fulfilled in advising veterinarians, pet store owners, pet store clerks, students and the public on matters of Pet Nutrition and Pet Care. She has been added to the esteemed board of the TTVA and will be serving as the Secretary for the period 2023-2025.
